Daḳota Iapi Fluency Assessment!

Help CWOO take a look at where our staff and families are in the Daḳota Iapi (language) with UMN Professor C̣aƞte Maza!

This will help CWOO track our language progress and goals.

Don’t worry if you feel you are not at the level you would like to be, this is going to help us understand where everyone is at to help support by creating lessons based on you!

What is it?

  • A 10-minute conversation will be held with C̣aƞte Maza via Zoom. He will ask questions in Dakota to start out the conversation. You can speak in Dakota to him to show him what you know. This will help with understanding where you are at to help with goals to implement and the upcoming projects for this school year. Let us know how we can help you speak Dakota!
