Please join us for a Dakota lapi Bowl during the Akicita Wacipi (Veterans Powwow) on Saturday, November 11th at the Crossed Arrows at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel. The block of rooms at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel will be released two weeks prior to the event.

Dakota lapi Akinic̣apte Schedule:

• 9:00-9:30 am – Registration and Breakfast
• 9:30 am-10:00am – Welcome, Opening, k’a Rules
• 10:00 am-Noon- Youth Rounds
• 12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch in Grand Eagle 1
• 1:00-3:00 pm- Adult Rounds
• 3:00-3:30 pm – Scoring
• 3:30-4:30 pm – Award Ceremony/Closing

Daḳota lapi Akinic̣api kiƞ Study Guide

Every team will sign up with 3-4 people on the team. There will be two Youth- ages 18 and under categories (beginner and advanced) and two Adult- ages 18+ categories (beginner and advanced). Youth rounds will be in the morning and Adult Rounds will be in the afternoon.
