The first 5 years of your child’s life is a time of rapid growth and learning, and screening can provide an important understanding of your child’s development at a particular point in time. Please join us at our Health Fair/Open House 2022. We will have stations set up which will cover health screenings including vision, hearing and height/weight checks, blood pressure check (for children 3+). Our vision/hearing screener tool will determine if your child should be further assessed by an optometrist/audiologist. All EHS/HS children must have these screeners completed within the first 30 days of enrollment. We value your presence/assistance upon completion of these screeners, as children tend to cooperate better when they are the most comfortable, and that is with you!
Local partnerships will be on site offering information on the services that are provided to CWOO children, along with other fun stations such as a launch of our digital parenting curriculum -Ready Rosie, 1000 books before kindergarten literacy station, Dakota Iapi, and more!
This is also an opportunity to stop by your child’s classroom and say hello (Haƞ/Hau) to your child’s teacher!
Participants will receive a CWOO logo bag with lots of goodies inside!
Our Health Fair/Open House 2022 will be open to the community and will be held on two nights to accommodate our families. Please plan to attend 1 of the following dates: Tuesday, August 30th, and Thursday, September 1st from 3:30pm-6:00pm.
Family advocates will be reaching out to determine what day/time best works for your family.
